Fantastic organisation. Loads of support. Beautiful course and lovely and flat-bonus! The worst luck with weather the past two years. Third year lucky!!!

Really great organisation, especially dealing with such unexpected heat on the day, ensuring there were more than enough drinks and medics on the course.
Not the most inspiring of routes and almost all 26 miles are undulating, no flat stretches or serious hills on the course, so personally i found my rhythm was hard to find, with so many underpasses and bridges.
Atmosphere was average for a a marathon, not amazing, but far from poor… The places where the masses had gathered were very uplifting, especially the stadium, but the quiet points outweighed them.
Overall one I’d recommend, but I’ll be hoping for a more moderate temperature next year.

So central to roads, hotels etc. Easy (and free) parking. Stadium finish was a really nice touch and exit from here was smooth, too.

It would be unfair to take too much notice of my scores.
It was the the worst weather you can imagine. Torrential rain and high winds.
The organisers did a terrific job under the circumstances.
